November 2009 - the first journey, by train from London to Berlin and back again, as Berlin marked 20 years since the fall of the wall.
December 2009 - a short trip, including Christmas Markets, some intriguing cold war relics and a light scattering of snow!
June 2010 - five hot days in summer, including a visit to a deserted airport, memorials, and the things that lurk in the woods...
